Radish Raita | Mullangi Pachadi | Jajj Mullangi Raita | Salad

Ingredients:
1 bunch of red radish pounded
1/2 cup yogurt
Salt to taste
Tempering:
1 teaspoon oil
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/4 teaspoon hing (asafoetida)
A few curry leaves
Chilli flakes to taste
Fresh coriander, chopped
Method:
Wash and pound the red radishes using a mortar, pestle, or food processor.
In a bowl, add radish and the yoghurt. Set aside.
Heat oil in a small pan over medium heat.
Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Add hing and curry leaves, and sauté for a few seconds until fragrant.
Stir in the chilli flakes and let the tempering cool down.
Add salt to the radish; pour the tempering over the radish-yoghurt mixture and coriander.
Mix thoroughly and serve chilled as a refreshing side dish.
