Creamy German Cucumber and Dill Salad

Servings - 1


Ingredients:  



  • 1/2 English cucumber, thinly sliced  

  • 1/2 tablespoon dill (fresh or frozen) 

  • Salt and pepper to taste 

  • 1/4 cup sour cream 

  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar 

  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced (optional) 

  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)  



Method:  



  1. Add cucumber, salt, pepper, sour cream, white vinegar,  red onion slices, and dill in a large bowl. 

  2. Gently fold them, ensuring they are evenly coated with the dressing. 

  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour to allow the flavours to meld together. 

  4. Serve chilled, and enjoy!
