Bread Dahi Vada
Ingredients:
6 - Bread Pieces
Chilly powder to taste
1/2 tsp - Sugar
1/2 Cup - Yogurt/Curd
1/4 tsp - Cumin powder
Water
Oil
Tamarind chutney as needed ( Green Chutney Optional)
1/2 cup - Dry coconut powder
1 tbsp - Coriander leaves, chopped
8 - Cashews
10- Raisins, chopped
1- green chilly
Salt to taste
Method:
Mix dry coconut powder, coriander leaves, cashews, raisins, green chilly & salt.
In a bowl take some water and apply 2 -3 tbsp water to the bread.
Let it soak the bread for a minute.
Place 1 tbsp of prepared stuffing in the centre bread & cover.
Once all the bread balls are ready, deep fry them until its turns golden brown & remove.
Now mix the yoghurt along with some salt and sugar.
Arrange the vadas in the try and pour the yoghurt over them.
Sprinkle some cumin powder, chilli powder, tamarind chutney & coriander.
Chill the dahi vada & serve.
