Pan-Fried Pangasius Fillet

Servings: 2 


Ingredients For Marinating: 



  • 2 large pangasius filet 

  • Salt to taste 

  • Pepper to taste 

  • 1 tsp garlic powder 

  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder 

  • 1 tsp paprika powder 

  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour  



Ingredients For Batter: 



  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour 

  • 1 tsp paprika powder 

  • Salt to taste 

  • Pepper to taste 

  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder 

  • 1 tsp garlic powder 

  • 1 tsp oil 

  • 70-80 ml water 

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice 

  • Oil  



Method: 



  1. Season the pangasius fillet with salt, pepper, garlic powder, ginger powder, and paprika powder on a plate. 

  2. Gently massage the fish on both sides. 

  3. Dust the fillet with 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour and cut it into the desired-sized pieces.

  4. Whisk together all-purpose flour, paprika powder, salt, pepper to taste, ginger powder, garlic powder, 1 tsp oil, 70-80 ml water, and lemon juice. 

  5. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan. 

  6. Dip each fillet in the batter, then place it in the nonstick pan. 

  7. Shallow fry the fish for 6-9 minutes until it is light brown and done.
