Spinach Burger | Homemade Spinach Burger | Veggie Burger For Kids Lunch Box
Ingredients:
1 cup pre-cooked spinach leaves
2 large potatoes
Pepper powder to taste
1 tsp chaat masala
Salt to taste
1 tsp ginger
1 green chilli
3/4 cup bread crumbs
4 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup water as required
4 tbsp butter
4 burger buns
Ketchup
Cucumber slices
Tomato slices
Cheese slices
Method:
Wash, chop and cook the spinach leaves until tender.
Boil and peel the potatoes, mash them into a smooth paste.
Add the cooked spinach, mashed potato pepper, chaat masala, salt, ginger, chilli, and bread crumbs to a bowl.
Mix them well and prepare like dough.
Divide into 3 - 4 portions and make small balls out of the dough and flatten them into the shape of patties.
In a small bowl, add cornstarch, all-purpose flour, and water.
Mix well and make a thick batter.
Now, coat the patties with the bread crumbs and dip them in the batter.
Next, coat them with the bread crumbs and keep that ready.
Heat butter in a pan and place the patties.
Shallow fry the patties on medium heat until done and golden brown.
Apply the butter to burger buns and toast the burger buns on the pan.
Transfer to the serving plate and spread ketchup on one half.
Place the cucumber slices, tomato slices, patty, and a cheese slice.
Cover with the other half and microwave for 30 seconds, or serve as it is.
