Restaurant Style Tiffin Sambar Powder | Sambar Powder | ( Part1)

Ingredients:


  • 1/2 cup channa dal

  • 2 tsp fenugreek seeds

  • 5 tbsp coriander seeds

  • 16-20 red chillies 

  • 1 tbsp desiccated coconut (Optional)

  • Few dried curry leaves (Optional)

  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida

  • 2 tsp cumin seeds


Method:


1. Roast all the above ingredients without burning.
2. Let it cool down completely and make a coarse powder.

3. Store the sambar powder in the airtight container.
