Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup ground almonds
1/4 cup sugar
100g butter
1 tbsp vanilla sugar
Other Ingredients:
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp vanilla sugar
Method:
Knead all the dough ingredients together thoroughly.
Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes.
Meanwhile, sift the powdered sugar and combine it with the vanilla sugar.
After 30 minutes, take portions of the dough and shape them into half-moons.
Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for approximately 10-15 minutes or until they're cooked through.
If the crescents start browning, they're ready.
Let the crescents cool for about 3-4 minutes.
Dust the prepared powdered sugar mixture over the crescents, coating all sides evenly.
