EASY Chicken Curry Recipe For Beginners & Bachelors - Without Cream and Without Coconut Milk
Servings - 2-3
Ingredients For Marination:
500g chicken, boneless
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp paprika powder
1 tsp ginger - garlic paste
Ingredients For Curry:
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp ginger, chopped
2 tbsp garlic, chopped
Few curry leaves
1 large onion
2 tomatoes
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
2 tbsp curry powder
1/3 cup water
Coriander
Method:
Add chicken, salt to taste, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, paprika powder, and ginger - garlic paste in a large bowl.
Mix well and rest the chicken for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, heat the oil in a pan.
Add chopped ginger, garlic and sauté.
Next, add curry leaves and sauté.
Now, add the onion and cook the onion until translucent.
Add tomatoes, stir and cook for a minute.
Add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, garam masala, pepper powder, cumin powder and curry powder.
Mix well and cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.
Finally, add the marinated chicken, stir and cook for 2 minutes on medium-high heat.
Next, add water and mix well; cover and cook the chicken until it's done.
Stir in the coriander and serve with Indian flatbreads or with rice.
