EASY Chicken Curry Recipe For Beginners & Bachelors - Without Cream and Without Coconut Milk

Servings - 2-3



Ingredients For Marination: 



  • 500g chicken, boneless  

  • Salt to taste 

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 

  • 1 tsp paprika powder 

  • 1 tsp ginger - garlic paste  



Ingredients For Curry: 



  • 2 tbsp oil 

  • 1 tbsp ginger, chopped 

  • 2 tbsp garlic, chopped 

  • Few curry leaves 

  • 1 large onion 

  • 2 tomatoes 

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala 

  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder 

  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder 

  • 2 tbsp curry powder 

  • 1/3 cup water 

  • Coriander  



Method:  



  1. Add chicken, salt to taste, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, paprika powder, and ginger - garlic paste in a large bowl. 

  2. Mix well and rest the chicken for 15 minutes. 

  3. After 15 minutes, heat the oil in a pan. 

  4. Add chopped ginger, garlic and sauté.  

  5. Next, add curry leaves and sauté. 

  6. Now, add the onion and cook the onion until translucent. 

  7. Add tomatoes, stir and cook for a minute. 

  8. Add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, garam masala, pepper powder, cumin powder and curry powder. 

  9. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes on medium heat. 

  10. Finally, add the marinated chicken, stir and cook for 2 minutes on medium-high heat.

  11. Next, add water and mix well; cover and cook the chicken until it's done. 

  12. Stir in the coriander and serve with Indian flatbreads or with rice.
