Butterflied Chicken Drumsticks

Servings - 4 



Ingredients: 



  • 8 chicken drumsticks 

  • Paprika powder 

  • Salt  

  • 100g butter 

  • 2-3 tablespoons oil  

  • Chilli flakes 

  • 2 tablespoons fresh garlic paste  

  • Coriander 

  • Lemon juice  



Method: 



  1. Wash and pat dry the chicken drumsticks.  

  2. Carefully slice each drumstick from top to bottom, all the way to the bone.  

  3. Gently pull apart the sides of the cut to open and flatten the drumstick, leaving some meat connected on the opposite side. 

  4. Repeat for all drumsticks. 

  5. Season the drumsticks generously with paprika powder and salt, then place them uncovered on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes. 

  6. Meanwhile, prepare the dressing by heating the butter and oil. 

  7. Add chilli flakes, garlic paste, coriander, lemon juice, and salt to the hot butter. Mix well. 

  8. After 30 minutes, brush some oil onto the chicken. 

  9. Bake or grill the chicken in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25-30 minutes. 

  10. Place the rack on the top setting and char the chicken for 5 minutes. 

  11. Remove the chicken from the oven, brush it with the butter-garlic mixture, and enjoy.
